Our language frames how we think about others. Help eliminate the use
of the R-word in everyday speech.
Spread the Word to End the Word is a campaign to raise awareness of the hurtful effects of the word “retard(ed)” and encourage people to pledge
to stop using it.

ATTENTION:
ALL Class "A" Volunteers
there is a
"Protective Behaviors"
Training Policy in effect!!!
Class "A" Volunteer is defined as an
individual who will have direct contact
withor supervision of an athlete.
All Class "A" volunteers MUST
complete a "Protective Behaviors" course- an online version is available.
The implementation of this training
is required to further reduce the opportunity
for sexual, physical and emotional abuse to our athletes.
To access it,
simply click on the link below:
Training Course
Once you have successfully completed the course, SOME will receive an email confirmation that you have completed the training. We would prefer that everyoneuse the online training, however, if you are not able to, you may obtain a CD version of the training, by calling Ian Frank at 879-0489.
Thank you, in advance, for your cooperation with this policy - as always, we ALL strive to make the program better and safer for the athletes we serve!
